ABOUT US
Established in 1982, SAS Engineering built its reputation as a dependable engineering partner to Formula One and Touring Car manufacturers. In the early 2000s, our focus shifted to the remanufacture of scarce and obsolete components for the historic motorsport industry.
Today, we specialise in producing high-quality, competition-ready components engineered to withstand the most demanding conditions, while supporting engine builders and restoration specialists with low-volume manufacturing solutions.
ENGINEERING-LED REMANUFACTURE
Historic engine components present unique challenges. Original parts are often inconsistent, worn, or no longer available, and modern replacements must respect both the design intent and the operating realities of competition use.
Our approach begins with careful analysis of original components using accurate measurement and reverse-engineering techniques. Materials, tolerances and manufacturing methods are then selected to improve durability and repeatability while remaining faithful to the original specification. The result is components that perform reliably in modern historic racing conditions without compromise.
QUALITY, RESPONSIBILITY & REPUTATION
Every component that leaves our factory reflects not only our technical capability, but our responsibility to those who use it. Our customers’ names are on the engine, on the car and on the results sheet and we take that seriously.
We operate with no conflicts of interest, maintain consistent standards across every component, and take full ownership of the quality of the parts we supply. We work closely with our customers and rely on their feedback to help us develop our products but always ensure we protect their intellectual property when it matters.
FOCUSED ON THE FUTURE
While our roots are firmly in historic motorsport, our sights are set on the future. By combining decades of motorsport experience with contemporary manufacturing capability, we continue to refine, expand and invest in our engineering processes and our product range to meet the needs of our customers worldwide.
